Dr. Benish Aleem is an accomplished academician, biomedical researcher, and Lead Trainer with extensive expertise in molecular pathology, cancer biology, and medical education. She currently serves as Assistant Professor and Head of Department (Oral Pathology) at the Institute of Pathology & Diagnostic Medicine, Khyber Medical University. Beyond her academic tenure, Dr. Aleem is a distinguished resource person and trainer for the Establishment Division (Government of Pakistan), conducting high-impact capacity building sessions for senior government officers, as well as the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and the SAARC Human Resource Development Center. A Fellow of the International College of Dentists (University of Michigan, USA) and winner of the prestigious ESMO Asia award, her current pioneering research focuses on establishing artificial intelligence deep-learning models for diagnostic pathology and molecular biomarker signatures in oral oncology.
